Quick Answer: Kokido makes cordless pool vacuums in two families: XTROJET robots that clean the floor on their own, and XTROVAC handhelds you push on a pole. The best Kokido for most backyard pools is the XTROJET 620 ($249 on Kokido’s US webshop), which Kokido rates at 62 gallons per minute with a 1.85-gallon leaf bag and up to 90 minutes per charge. That’s the same rated flow as Kokido’s $229 XTROVAC 910 handheld, so for $20 more the robot does the pushing. Both robots are floor-only and rated for pools up to 30 ft across or 700 sq ft. The cheaper XTROJET 420 ($169) is the one to compare hardest: its rated flow is about a quarter of the 620’s.
Kokido isn’t a new name. On its About page the company says it was founded in 1990, started its pool-vacuum line in 2016 and its first robots in 2018, sells in 58 countries, and is a member of BWT Group, the water-treatment company. Kokido says it has sold more than 75 million units across its whole catalog in the last 10 years, under its own name and retailers’ private labels. For this review we compared every pool product on Kokido’s US webshop (shop.kokido.com) on November 4, 2026: prices, the spec table on each listing, Kokido’s FAQs, the XTROJET 420 and 620 owner’s manuals, and the warranty page. These are spec, price and documentation checks; we haven’t run a Kokido in a pool ourselves.
Prices and specs checked November 4, 2026 on Kokido's US webshop. Kokido's store runs a "season clearance" banner that says the lowest price shows in the cart, so checkout can be lower than the listed sale price.

All figures are Kokido’s own, from the spec table and bullets on each listing. Kokido also sells the XTROBRUSH 100 electric scrubber ($49.99, regular $74.99) and replacement bag sets for the 410 and 910 ($24.99 for a standard plus fine bag).
The XTROJET robots
Kokido XTROJET 620
- Leaf robot with a 360-degree intake and a 1.85-gallon external bag. Kokido rates it at 62 gallons per minute.
- Ships with two interchangeable bags: 250 micron for leaves, 149 micron for finer debris and sand.
- Up to 90 minutes per charge, about 4 hours for the first full charge, then it parks at the wall for pickup with the included hook (pole not included).
- Floor only. Rated for flat-bottom pools up to 30 ft across or 700 sq ft, with a slope of up to 8 degrees.
The 620 is the most interesting product Kokido sells, because it is essentially Kokido’s 910 handheld turned into a robot. Kokido rates the two at 62 and 61.5 gallons per minute, and the robot’s bag is slightly bigger (1.85 against 1.72 gallons). The robot costs $249, the handheld $229. For $20, you stop pushing a pole. What you give up is control: the 910 goes wherever you aim it, including steps, a steep deep end and pools over 700 sq ft, while the 620 drives its own pattern across the floor only.
On paper, 62 gallons per minute works out to 3,720 gallons per hour. That’s close to the roughly 4,000 GPH Maytronics lists for its corded Dolphin Explorer E10 to E30 robots. Treat that as a loose comparison, though: there’s no shared test standard for pool-cleaner flow, and each maker publishes its own number.
Kokido XTROJET 420
- Rated at 15.9 gallons per minute with a 1.2-gallon canister and 154 sq in of filter area. Two 5-inch inlets take soft debris up to 7 inches long.
- 250-micron stainless filter only. Kokido says it's not for algae or silt.
- Up to 75 minutes per charge, and about 6 hours for the first full charge, per the manual.
- Wall sensor plus a 3-position path setting. Kokido says it reaches more than 90% of a flat-bottom pool under 30 ft and 700 sq ft. Floor only.
The 420 is $80 cheaper than the 620, but the gap in rated flow is much bigger than the gap in price. Kokido rates the 420 at 15.9 gallons per minute, so the 620’s 62 is about 3.9 times as much, and Kokido’s own $129 XTROVAC 510 handheld is rated almost the same as the 420, at 15. The 420’s canister is large for its price (Kokido calls it “almost double the size of common elementary robotic cleaners”), but its manual still tells owners to empty it after the first 30 minutes when the pool is dirty. It also has only 5 owner reviews on Kokido’s store, against 13 for the 620.
Kokido XTROJET 420 vs WYBOT A1
At $169, the 420 lands on the same price as the most common budget cordless floor robot, the WYBOT A1. Both clean the floor only.
| Spec (maker figures, Nov 4 2026) | Kokido XTROJET 420 | WYBOT A1 |
|---|---|---|
| Price on maker's store | $169 (regular $299) | $169.97 (regular $229.99) |
| Rated pool size | Up to 700 sq ft, under 30 ft | Up to 1,076 sq ft |
| Runtime | Up to 75 min | Up to 120 min |
| Floor slope | Flat bottom | Under 15 degrees |
| Cleans walls/waterline | No | No |
| Debris capacity | 1.2 gal canister | Not compared here |
For 97 cents more, WYBOT rates the A1 for 54% more pool area and 60% longer runtime. The 420’s case rests on its big canister and Kokido’s 45-day webshop returns. If you’re choosing between the two for a flat above-ground pool, read our WYBOT A1 review first, and if your pool has leaves, spend the extra $80 on the 620 instead.
Will a 700 sq ft robot cover your pool?
Both XTROJET robots carry the same limit: Kokido recommends them for pools up to 30 ft in diameter or 700 sq ft of floor. Here is how common pool sizes compare (our arithmetic on the floor area of each shape):
| Pool | Floor area | Within Kokido's 700 sq ft rating? |
|---|---|---|
| 18 ft round above-ground | About 254 sq ft | Yes |
| 24 ft round above-ground | About 452 sq ft | Yes |
| 30 ft round above-ground | About 707 sq ft | Right at the limit |
| 12 x 24 ft rectangle | 288 sq ft | Yes |
| 16 x 32 ft rectangle | 512 sq ft | Yes |
| 18 x 36 ft rectangle | 648 sq ft | Yes, if the floor is flat or gently sloped |
| 20 x 40 ft rectangle | 800 sq ft | No |
One setup detail from both manuals: the robots ship on the factory setting for pools whose shortest side is 9.8 ft (3 m) or less. On most in-ground pools and larger above-ground pools, you need to move the trajectory wheel (620) or pin (420) to position 1 before the first run. If the robot still misses areas, the manual suggests the middle position or launching it from a different spot.
The XTROVAC handhelds
Kokido XTROVAC 910
- 61.5 gallons per minute and a 1.72-gallon external bag, the biggest of any Kokido handheld.
- Two bags: 250 micron (leaves up to 10 inches) and 75 micron for fine sand.
- Up to 75 minutes per charge. Rated for medium to large in-ground and above-ground pools. 5 lb, pole not included.
Kokido XTROVAC 510
- Up to 90 minutes per charge, the longest of any Kokido handheld.
- 250-micron stainless mesh plus a removable 50-micron sock for sand. Debris up to 4 inches.
- Two heads (pivoting floor head with side brushes, square spot brush). 0.32-gallon canister, 5.5 lb, takes any standard pole with a 1.1-inch inner diameter (pole not included).
Kokido XTROVAC 320
- 16 gallons per minute, 0.15-gallon canister, 250-micron steel filter and a 106-micron fine bag.
- Up to 50 minutes on its 7.4V battery. Kokido pitches it for people who want suction over runtime.
- 3.5 lb, with a 5-section aluminum pole that reaches 6 ft.
Kokido XTROVAC 110
- 10 gallons per minute and a 0.11-gallon canister. Not for leaves or debris longer than 3 inches.
- 2.58 lb, 17 inches long, 72 dB per Kokido, works in 41 to 108°F water.
- Comes with a 5-section aluminum pole (1.3 to 5.9 ft) and two cleaning heads. 76 owner reviews on Kokido's store, the most of any Kokido product currently in stock.
The 110’s listing contradicts itself in two places, so check which figure matters to you before buying:
| XTROVAC 110 spec | Product bullets | Kokido's FAQ on the same page |
|---|---|---|
| Runtime | 60 minutes ("25% up", 2026 upgrade) | Up to 40 minutes |
| Pool size | Small pools up to 20 ft | Up to 15 ft total area |
| Depth | 12 inches to 9.8 ft | 6.5 ft with the included pole |
The depth figures can both be true, since the included pole limits your reach. The runtime and pool-size figures can’t. The XTROVAC 410 leaf vacuum (30 gallons per minute, 1.72-gallon bag, pole included, 116 owner reviews) was sold out on Kokido’s store on November 4. If you find one, the 910 is its closest in-stock replacement.

By the numbers
- $20: the price gap between the XTROJET 620 robot ($249) and the XTROVAC 910 handheld ($229), which Kokido rates at almost identical flow (62 against 61.5 gallons per minute).
- About 3.9 times: the 620’s rated flow against the 420’s (62 against 15.9 gallons per minute), for $80 more.
- 700 sq ft: the largest pool Kokido recommends for either XTROJET robot. A standard 20 x 40 ft in-ground pool is 800 sq ft.
- 35% to 44% off: the XTROJET discounts on Kokido’s store on November 4 ($249 against $379, $169 against $299). Judge the sale price, not the regular one.
- 18 months, but 12 on the battery: Kokido’s extended warranty only applies to vacuum products bought on its own webshop, and the battery stays at one year.
- 17 times: the spread in debris capacity across the lineup, from 0.11 gallons (XTROVAC 110) to 1.85 gallons (XTROJET 620).
Warranty and returns: the fine print
| Where you buy | Warranty | Returns |
|---|---|---|
| Kokido.com webshop | 18-month limited on vacuum products, 12 months on the battery; product pages add 1 month for registration | 45-day "test drive", full refund of the purchase price |
| Other authorized sellers (Kokido names Amazon and Walmart) | 1 year from purchase with proof of purchase | Seller's own return policy |
| Open-box, as-is, private resale, unauthorized resellers | Not covered | Not applicable |
Kokido’s warranty also excludes commercial use, so a pool-service route doesn’t qualify. The serial-number label has to stay intact. Without a receipt, Kokido says it checks eligibility using the serial number. Support is by voicemail at (866) 683-7672 or [email protected].
What the manuals tell you before the first run
The XTROJET 420 and 620 manuals share a set of rules that the product pages don’t mention:
- Wait 24 to 48 hours after shocking the pool, with the pump circulating, before you put the robot in.
- Don’t run it alongside another automatic cleaner, and take any pool ladder out first.
- Water must cover the whole robot. Maximum operating depth is 9.8 ft (3 m), water temperature 41 to 95°F.
- Let it rest 30 to 40 minutes after a run before charging, and never leave it on the charger for more than 10 hours.
- For winter storage, charge it to about 30% to 50%, keep it at 50 to 77°F, and recharge it every three months. The battery isn’t user-replaceable, and opening the robot voids the warranty.
- Use a filter at all times. Running the 620 without an intact bag voids the warranty, per its manual.
What Kokido doesn’t do
Neither XTROJET robot climbs walls or scrubs the waterline, and Kokido’s US webshop doesn’t sell a robot that does. Kokido’s own answer for walls and steps is the XTROBRUSH 100 ($49.99), a 1.5 lb electric scrubber with a 180 RPM motor, up to 40 minutes per charge, three brush heads, USB-C charging (charger not included) and a pressure cut-off that stops the motor if you push too hard. It works up to 9.8 ft deep and takes a standard pole, which isn’t included. If you want one machine for floor, walls and waterline, look at the cordless robots in our best cordless robotic pool cleaner guide instead.
Kokido’s About page says its global catalog also includes hydraulic (suction-side) cleaners, solar cover reels, lighting and other pool gear. The US webshop only sells the vacuums, robots and accessories covered above.
Which Kokido should you buy?
- Leaves on a flat or gently sloped floor, pool under 700 sq ft: XTROJET 620 ($249). See also our best pool cleaner for leaves picks.
- Leaves, but a bigger pool, steep floor or lots of steps: XTROVAC 910 ($229) on your own pole.
- Sand and fine dirt on a budget: XTROVAC 510 ($129) with its 50-micron sock, and the longest handheld runtime Kokido sells.
- Light and simple, pole included: XTROVAC 320 ($109).
- Hot tub or spa: XTROVAC 110 ($69.99), going by the more cautious 40-minute runtime in Kokido’s FAQ.
- A $169 floor robot for a small above-ground pool: compare the XTROJET 420 against the WYBOT A1 and our best above-ground pool cleaner picks before you buy.
The bottom line
Kokido is a sound, well-documented brand with one standout product: the XTROJET 620, a $249 floor robot rated at the same flow as Kokido’s own $229 leaf handheld, with a bigger bag. Buy it if your pool is under about 700 sq ft and your floor is flat or gently sloped. The XTROVAC 910 is the better pick for bigger or steeper pools, the XTROVAC 510 is the best-value handheld, and the XTROJET 420 is the one to compare against rivals before you buy. Whatever you choose, Kokido’s own webshop gets you the longest warranty, at 18 months on everything except the battery.
